Desire, I Want to Turn Into You – Caroline Polachek
As the club was created around the same time of this album release, it was a clear choice as the initial feature and write up. I’m working on tracking down the write up itself for the archives, but it may have been washed away in a wave of Google cleansing.
Fun Fact: I drove to LA on the day the album released and purchased (2) copies of the album. Each came with a ticket to come back in 3 weeks, and have the record signed by Caroline in person. I jumped at the opportunity, and was able to meet Caroline for the signing. I made up a joke using one of her song titles and made her smile 🙂
